Itel Electronics manufacture cable harnesses which operate in harsh environments where full environmental protection is required. We can hand-lay multi-core cables for low volume requirements and prototyping, as well as being aligned to specialist cable manufactures for production runs to keep lead-times short and pricing competitive.
Our products are used in both test and flight applications and can be found in Aerospace, Military, Marine, Space, Automotive and Commercial/Industrial applications.
Designing solutions to meet ISO-Class 5/6/7 cleanroom requirements, we can also manufacture on-site within our customers facilities or off-site cleanrooms.
Every enquiry is allocated a specific Engineer to ensure that each element of the service from quotation to delivery is communicated clearly to all of the relevant departments.
Clear, accurate and concise engineering provides the foundation to enable the production cell to achieve planned levels of efficiency for each assembly.
Process engineering documentation produced by our Engineers clearly defines the various stages of manufacture, whilst our workforce is trained against a matrix of skill and competence.
We can carry out on-site visits and installations and have the capability to produce drawings from customer specifications or reverse engineer a sample harness where little or no information is available.
Working in combination with our customers Engineering and Production departments to understand each individual project, we have the experience and knowledge to suggest solutions to satisfy customer’s applications.
Our latest investment comes in the form of our 3D Printer. We use this with Solidworks to design and create our own bespoke jigs, manufacturing aids, prototyping and space models.

The Itel engineering team has experience from the Aerospace, Marine and Military vehicle sectors. We have established relationships with fabricators to enable us to provide rapid development of one-off bespoke machined or fabricated boxes through to volume production.
Our products are in used in the Marine, Commercial, Military, Space and Aerospace sectors.
If you build harnesses in-house, we may still be able to help you.
We may be able to manufacture more efficiently saving time & cost and leaving your own workforce to focus on other key areas of your business or alternatively use Itel as an over-flow or sourcing/kitting house for your components.
Do you need to source harness components? We may have stock available or utilising our buying power we may be able to source more competitively through our extensive supply chain.

Itel Electronics produce drawings using the TE Harnware and Visio software. These can be produced using customer drawing formats if required.
A great deal of time is invested in the quality and level of information contained within the drawing pack. Prototyping & first-offs ensure the best practice manufacturing techniques and lessons learnt are captured for full production.
As a minimum each drawing controls the following information:
• Parts List/BOM
• Physical layout with dimensions
• Wiring schematic
• Appropriate specifications
